Today Dane was blessed by his dad. He slept peacefully through the blessing, while Sarah cried out loudly for a breastfeed. We had a wonderful afternoon at Todd's parents' house with lots of the extended family. Cyndy and Jeff are such supportive grandparents and go above and beyond the call of duty. I'm so glad Rebecca and Morgan and the kids could make it, and especially Granny Smylie, who flew over from Adelaide yesterday. Most of all, I'm grateful that I'm part of an eternal family.

naaawww! I truly wish I could be there for the blessing ... the Conklin family is so blessed to have him so near and I cant wait till you're here with him so we can snuggle with him before he gets to the age of being "too cool for snuggles" love ya xo

Kate, you have such a beautiful family. On Saturday I felt really guilty that your parents were in Adelaide attending Ailish's baptism and not in Sydney with you at Dane's blessing. Your Mum said you'll be down in July, we'll have to organise another girly night. xx
PS you know you can photoshop Morgan out of the photo of you and Rebecca - he just spoils such a nice picture :)
